Reproductive Sovereignty
A Program designed for herbalists, birth workers such as doulas and midwives, and health care professionals interested in learning more about safety and efficacy using herbal abortifacients and natural tools to aid in recovering from miscarriage and abortion.
Happening in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, April 25th
Join herbalist Elaine Sheff for a deep dive workshop to learn about female bodies, determine fertility, and explore herbal options for abortion and miscarriage. We will consider timing and safety issues as well as the pros and cons of using herbs in these ways.
Herbs and processes for mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical recovery and repair will be discussed. We will go over herbal categories, including implantation preventers, emmenagogues, abortifacients, uterine astringents, hemostats, hormone balancers, and reproductive strengtheners to aid in recovery.
Also discussed will be other abortion options, emotional support, rituals of release, and herbal formulas.
Everyone is welcome: men, and women, and a special invitation to BIPOC folks and transgender people who are able to conceive who are often excluded from these conversations
