A comprehensive hybrid program for those interested in becoming professional herbalists.

This hybrid curriculum is offered as an all on-line program or can also be taken in-person. The Herbalist Certificate Program is designed to provide a total immersion into natural healing and medicinal plants. Students will achieve the skill set, and confidence needed to practice herbalism. Discover a new and exciting direction in your life: explore the ancient art and modern science of herbal healing!

This program requires weekly attendance including real time and online classes. Students can earn their certificate either remotely or in person. By offering the best features of both online and more traditional forms of learning we provide students great flexibility in perusing their herbal education.

In-person classes will be held in our classroom and gardens, and the forests, mountains, meadows and rivers around Missoula, Montana. In-person class will also be offered on Zoom, allowing students to choose how they participate.

Curriculum

430+ class hours over a span of 6 months. Classes start in January (see web page for details) and run Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week from 9 am-4 pm mountain time. The program ends in early July.

Upon completion, each student will receive a certificate. Completion entails completing all assignments and missing no more than 8 class days throughout the program. If necessary, classes may be made up by watching the recorded video.
